Sharing OneDrive and SharePoint Files in a Teams Chat

With OneDrive and SharePoint, instead of sending attachments, you can share links to files and edit files simultaneously with other people. You can do this via the Microsoft Teams Chat.
Step 1 - To share a link to a file in a Chat, go to the paperclip and select ‘Attach file’.

Step 2 - Select 'Attach cloud files'

Step 3 - Navigate to find the file you want to share. Note: If the recipients don’t have access already, you will get the option to choose what access you want them to have to the file.
The file can be opened in Teams, on the web, or in the desktop office apps. A shortcut to the file will also be added to the ‘Shared’ section in the chat.
Extra tip: This is also how you can share files in a meeting, using the meeting chat.
