How to use Gemini to create a Google Doc

You can use Gemini to help you create your Google Docs, this could be a project proposal, a list of ideas or a pitch. In this example, I have used Gemini to help me create a training proposal for Google Sheets Advanced training for a medium-sized organisation.

Step 1 - To get started click the Gemini icon in the top right of your Google Doc

Or from the 'Tools' menu

Or from the Gemini 'Help me write' icon to the right of the page

Step 2 - Ask Gemini in the prompt box what you would like it to create. Add in any specific subject matters, such as Google Sheets Advanced training session, you can also ask it to reference other documents for content.

Step 3 - Gemini will create the content and you can then review it before inserting it into your Google Doc.

Step 4 - At the bottom of the content there will be the option to click the 'Insert' arrow to add the content to your Doc. From here you can also; copy it, retry, preview it, retry with Google Search, and provide feedback if it was a good (thumbs up) suggestion or a bad (thumbs down) suggestion!

Step 5 - Once the content is added, you can edit it and make it your own, making your document come to life with your content.
