How to sign into Google Chrome
If you sign into Google Chrome and use the sync feature, you can access your bookmarks, passwords, history etc across all your devices. It also makes accessing multiple Google accounts easier, remember to stick to guest mode on public computers and devices.
There are different ways to sign in to Chrome. When you first use Chrome it will ask you to sign in or you can do this via the Google Chrome settings.
To add other Chrome profiles or to sync the account you are signed into, click your profile image in the top right.
You can then click the sync option to prompt this. And it is as easy as that. You can click to switch between multiple Chrome profiles and have several open at one time if necessary in multiple windows. This is useful when we want to access our work and training accounts simultaneously.
If you want to alter your settings to choose what is synced and what isn't, then you can do this via your Chrome settings.
Extra tip: You can customise your profile further by clicking the pencil icon in the top right (as shown above), from here you can pick a theme colour for each profile, making it easier to tell the difference between multiple accounts. The profiles can also be named from here.
