You can set up filters in Gmail from the Advanced Search box.

Step 1 - Open Gmail

Step 2 - Go to the search menu and fill in the details of the emails you want to filter, for example below I would like to filter any emails from Lauren that include the word 'Training'.

Step 3 - Select 'Create filter'

Step 4 - Tell Gmail what you would like it to do with the emails, in the example below I would like them to go straight to the training label, so I have ticked 'Skip the Inbox' and selected which label would like it to go to, in this case 'Training'.
