Google Slides In-Person Presentation Tip
Sometimes, getting your presentation on the screen can be stressful in face-to-face meetings. With ‘Presentation display options’, you can have your slides open on the big screen and your presenter view open on your laptop screen.
Step 1 - Connect to the screen (for example, plug in the HDMI).
Step 2 - Open your Slides and go to the drop-down next to the ‘Slideshow’ button. Then select ‘Presentation display options’.

Step 3 - Then select your preferred display options and the screen you would like the slides to be presented on. The example below ensures the presenter view is on my laptop screen and the slides are on the meeting room screen.
